About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will drive sales efforts in the local market, with the potential to expand into broader regions. This fast-paced role combines strategy, client engagement and market analysis, empowering you to identify opportunities, win new business, and nurture existing client relationships.
You'll be more than a salesperson; you'll be a trusted partner, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions that drive their success. You will manage key accounts in South Australia and Victoria, responsible for growing revenue while actively identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage referrals and collaborate with marketing to attract and onboard new clients
- Attend industry events to connect with prospects and stay ahead of market trends
- Build and sustain meaningful relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Negotiate contracts to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while optimising revenue
- Analyse the market and establish competitive advantages
- Manage the sales pipeline proactively
- Proven track record in sales or logistics operational roles
- Ideally, experience with Salesforce or similar platforms
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to identify and approach new business opportunities with the support of your team
- Confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones
- Willingness and ability to travel to other states for client meetings
