Our client is a Sydney-based creative and production hub operating at the intersection of art, advertising, fashion, and editorial, bringing together two complementary specialist agencies to deliver end-to-end creative solutions for local and international clients.

What you’ll do:
Reporting directly to the Resident Director, you’ll be responsible for the local entity, taking full ownership of the financials including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Receivable, Banking, Invoicing, Artist RCI, Payroll, Reimbursements and Debt Collection.

• Financial reporting and month-end close, including accruals, adjustments, balance sheet, bank and credit card reconciliations, and posting monthly movements in accounting system.
• Cashflow, budgeting & forecasting, weekly cashflow management, ongoing budget monitoring, variance analysis, and preparation of management reports for local leadership and head office.
• Statutory, tax & compliance obligations, i ncluding IAS, BAS, payroll tax, FBT, superannuation, ABS reporting, and coordination with external accountants for annual tax returns and audits.
• Payroll, commissions & artist payments, covering employees, talents and contractors, including leave balances, long service leave, commission calculations, and artist reporting accuracy.
