Accounting Manager – Transport Finance

About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional that has experience in the transport industry, specifically on the revenue side and with a continuous improvement mindset.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the billings function for a sizeable transport business
General Ledger review and oversight
Revenue analysis by customer
Provide financial solutions and guidance to the business
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Review pricing and cost models for existing and new business opportunities
Manage the onboarding process for new customers and carriers
Review and report on overheads, including wages and salary allocations
Oversee Profit and Loss for various business units and multi-site operations
Fleet management costings and P&L reporting
Lead and mentor a team of Billings Clerks and Accountants
  
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong understanding of the transport business
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
CPA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years’ experience
Experience in large businesses with complex, high-volume transactional environments
Proven experience leading a team
Experience with OTM and Oracle OneCloud (preferred, but not essential)
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
