Ready to make a lasting impact across regional NSW? We’re seeking an experienced Acquisition Manager to lead the delivery of a major land and easement acquisition program.
  
Join a high-performing team working on a critical government infrastructure initiative. You’ll play a key role in managing complex acquisitions and ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of property outcomes that align with legislative requirements.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of the program’s property and easement acquisition strategy.
• Lead negotiations, valuations, and documentation processes across rural and regional properties.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment across all acquisition activities.
• Monitor progress and manage risks using robust project management practices.
• Prepare clear and professional reports, presentations, registers, and briefing documents for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with legislative frameworks 
• Interpret complex documentation, including legal advice, valuation reports, and town planning materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience delivering land/property acquisition services on major government projects—experience in regional or rural settings is preferred
• In-depth understanding of NSW property law, planning frameworks, and land acquisition procedures.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage sensitive negotiations.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, law, planning, or a related discipline.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to regional NSW, minimum one week per month.
