Join a high-performing team working on a critical government infrastructure initiative. You’ll play a key role in managing complex acquisitions and ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of property outcomes that align with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of the program’s property and easement acquisition strategy.
- Lead negotiations, valuations, and documentation processes across rural and regional properties.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment across all acquisition activities.
- Monitor progress and manage risks using robust project management practices.
- Prepare clear and professional reports, presentations, registers, and briefing documents for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with legislative frameworks
- Interpret complex documentation, including legal advice, valuation reports, and town planning materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
- 5+ years’ experience delivering land/property acquisition services on major government projects—experience in regional or rural settings is preferred
- In-depth understanding of NSW property law, planning frameworks, and land acquisition procedures.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage sensitive negotiations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, law, planning, or a related discipline.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to regional NSW, minimum one week per month.
