Our large NSW State Government client is responsible for the management of the NSW Government’s social housing portfolio.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Asset Performance Officer to support maintenance and asset programs across the Southern Region. This is a key role ensuring properties are safe, compliant and well-maintained.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Scope works accurately and on time
- Manage planned maintenance programs using PAS data
- Oversee Vacants, Modifications & Complaint Management programs
- Conduct property inspections and maintain detailed records
- Ensure compliance with Building Codes, housing standards & contracts
- Work closely with contractors to deliver quality outcomes
- Identify and resolve compliance issues
- Provide recommendations to improve asset delivery
What You’ll Need
- Sound building/construction experience or exposure
- Contract administration experience (quotations, estimates)
- Strong understanding of contract requirements, standards & policies
- Ability to interpret and apply contract frameworks
- Current working knowledge of Australian Building Codes
- Intermediate MS Word & Excel (MS Project desirable)
- Experience in field inspections and measuring performance against standards
- Understanding of Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards and probity/contracting standards
- Relevant qualification and/or solid building maintenance/construction experience
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Experience conducting compliance inspections of building essential services (desirable)
