- $113,574 to $125,720 per annum (pro-rated) + super (Grade 7/8)

They are looking for a resilient and collaborative Business Analyst capable of process mapping and documentation with strong systems understanding, and can uncover opportunities for smarter, more efficient business outcomes during a 6-month engagement.

What you’ll do:
- Drive smarter, more efficient ways of working by analysing and documenting business processes and uncovering opportunities for innovation.
- Turn insights into action by conducting research that support key business change initiatives.
- Influence decision-making by preparing business cases and specifications that demonstrates clear benefits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build trust, implement changes that meet user needs, and deliver successful business outcomes.
- Manage projects ensuring solutions work seamlessly and comply with governance and legislative standards.
- Implement compliance and quality assurance measures, working collaboratively with technical advisors to implement process improvements and development opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes, identify opportunities for efficiency, and support decision-making through insights and evidence.
- Experience preparing business cases, specifications, or project documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to distil complex business needs into fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, build trust, and influence outcomes across diverse teams.
- Strong track record of delivering results, meeting deadlines, and achieving project objectives.
- Proficiency with business systems and tools; experience with testing and project governance is desirable.
- Government experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
- Valid Baseline security clearances & willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
