  • $40 per hour + Super | Global industry leader

About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Officer to join their national credit team to ensure the timely collection of overdue accounts.

You will work across three shift: 8:30 am-4:30 pm, 9:00 am-5:00 pm & 10:00-6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to WFH 1 day a week.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver high level, professional customer service
  • Answer customer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses 
  • Managing a large customer ledger
  • Undertake inbound and outbound calls in relation to the collection of overdue accounts and processing credit card payments
  • Capture, process and lodge customer information into the database
  • Educate customers on their rights, responsibilities, obligations and legislative requirements 
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, managing disputes on invoices/claims
  • Reconciliation of key accounts
  • Assisting with month-end-related tasks
  • Ensure compliance with best practice, standards and legislative requirements

Requirements
  • Demonstrated Accounts Receivable or Collections experience
  • Prior experience working in a high-volume environment
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency within MS office suite and ERP systems 
  • Intermediate Excel skills 
  • Reliable remote internet access 
  • Valid Drivers licence and own transport 
  • Flexible to work rotating rosters between 8:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday 
  • Ability and willingness to commit to the duration of the long term assignment
