Our large NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the community.
About the Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Customer Support Officer to join their team in the CBD. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend. The role will be on site Monday - Wednesday and from home Thursday & Friday.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of customer support services including high volume calls, customer service, data entry, records and database management ensure the delivery of quality management services.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, empathetic customer service via phone and email
- Act as the first point of contact and manage a busy switchboard
- Respond to customer enquiries accurately and efficiently
- Assist with complaint handling and issue resolution
- Manage shared inboxes and prepare correspondence
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
- Complete financial and general administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Ensure compliance with legislation and best-practice standards
- Proven experience in a customer support or customer service role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Confident using multiple systems and Microsoft Office
- Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to complete a National Police Check
- Available to commence immediately and commit to the assignment
