We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Supervisor to play a lead supporting role. Reporting to the CFO, this position will be split between finance support and customer service leadership , making it ideal for someone who wants to grow their career across either financial operation or people management.
You will oversee and guide the customer service team, driving improvements to processes and customer experience, while also supporting key financial tasks such as accounts processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service (60%)
- Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team to deliver high-quality service.
- Manage escalated customer issues and implement strategies to reduce future escalations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the customer experience across all service channels.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Streamline and improve service processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of open communication, encouraging feedback and using customer insights to drive improvements.
- Process accounts payable.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and monitor transactions.
- Issue invoices and manage debtor follow-ups.
- Assist with payroll and financial reporting.
- Maintain financial records, data entry, and internal finance systems.
- Provide administrative support for finance, compliance, and operational projects.
- 1-3 years' experience in a finance, accounts, or related role.
- Proficiency with Pronto (highly regarded).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).
- Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor team members in a customer service environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Finance or accounting qualifications are an advantage.
