About the Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in connecting finance with the business. Reporting to the Director of Finance – Transport, you will deliver critical financial analysis, commercial insights, and performance reporting that shape the strategic direction of the operation.
This is a hands-on, analytical role — ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, partnering across functions, and influencing outcomes through meaningful financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate financial and management reporting
- Build and review business cases to support key decisions and investments
- Manage rolling forecasts and annual budgeting processes
- Prepare financial models for capital investments and pricing reviews
- Conduct profitability and cost analysis by customer and service line
- Support contract and pricing reviews with Commercial and Operations Managers
- Oversee cash flow management and ensure financial integrity across projects
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for turning numbers into strategy. Confident working with stakeholders at all levels, you thrive in fast-paced, complex environments where your insights drive real impact.
- Proven experience in a commercial or management accounting role within a mid-to-large organisation
- Industry experience in logistics, transport or supply chain (advantageous)
- Strong analytical, reporting, and financial modelling skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build influential relationships
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
