Our large NSW State Government client drives integration and efficiency across long term planning, precincts, housing, property, infrastructure, open space, environment, natural resources including land, water, mining, energy and growing our industries. They are currently seeking a Financial Advisor with extensive processing experience to join their team in Parramatta! This is 12-month temporary assignment with strong potential to extend.
 
Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
• Assist with budgeting aligned to government goals.
• Provide insights and advice on financial issues.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and support decision-making.
• Ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
• Managing General Ledger and reconciliation processes.
• Inherent requirements of the role/ Essential Skills and Experience

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: Degree in Finance or equivalent experience
• Skills: Advanced Excel, SAP, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement.
• Capabilities: integrity, communication, customer service, problem-solving, and technology use.
• Previous government experience desired but not essential
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
• Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
