Based in North Sydney, this key role reports to the Director, Operations & Governance, with hybrid work arrangements.

About the Role

As the People & Culture Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping a high-performing, customer-centric, and innovative environment. Lead a dynamic P&C team, drive strategic HR initiatives, and partner closely with senior leaders to embed best practices and a values-led culture. Areas of focus include:
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:  Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, workforce planning, and employer branding.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture:  Drive engagement programs, champion diversity and inclusion, lead wellbeing activities, and promote innovation.
  • Performance, Learning & Growth:  In collaboration with the Learning and Growth Specialist, manage performance cycles, implement learning initiatives, and facilitate continuous development.
  • HR Policies & Compliance:  Review and implement policies, handle employee relations, and maintain compliance.
  • Compensation & Benefits:  Conduct benchmarking, manage reward programs, and lead annual reviews.
  • HR Systems & Reporting:  Optimise HRIS processes, provide analytics, and drive continuous improvement.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 5 years in HR, ideally within an SME.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and partner with senior leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and HRIS proficiency.
  • Must have own car and ability to commute to South West Sydney DC as needed.
