The Company
Our large NSW State Government client aims to actively grow and manage the supply of the right types of housing, at the right time, in the right areas, for people in need in the NSW community.
The Role
They are currently seeking a Program Support Officer to join their team in Parramatta. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment with the potential to extend.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation and coordination of compliance and upgrade related work that deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs
- Follow instructions to prepare project reports and documentation effectively and efficiently for managers, auditors, project officers and key stakeholders to communicate a range of matters related to compliance and deliver project progress information, reports and commentary
- Develop, manage and maintain large property databases and spreadsheets related to the compliance and upgrade programs and continually update the project statuses in a systematic and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with the other key stakeholders such as Homes, Property and Development staff and external contractors
- Participate and provide input to research and project-driven assistance and support for auditing processes, plans and procedures to contribute to enhanced practice and continuous improvement.
- Provide project information, support, identification and notification of issues/complaints and report as needed on process awareness to assist the compliance and upgrade teams to work effectively with new suppliers, contractors and consultants as required to ensure client satisfaction, timeliness and efficiency in project delivery and implementation.
- Demonstrated Project, Program, Administration or Business Support experience
- Construction Administration or Government experience - desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
