This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in Tax to join this global multinational and household name.
About the role
- Statutory accounts preparation and liaison with auditors
- Ownership of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow reporting at a country level
- Journal processing and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Direct and indirect taxes including liaison with tax consultants and ATO for audits and queries
- Responding to Regional Office regarding accounting queries and variations etc
- CA/CPA or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Big 4 background preferred but not essential
- Experienced in direct and indirect taxes
- Experience in statutory accounts including IFRS specifically IFRS 16
- Knowledge of operational areas of accounting including AR, AP, and Fixed Assets
- Oracle financials experience preferred but not essential
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Quick learner who can easily adapt their knowledge of accounting and tax principles
