About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional that has experience in the transport industry, specifically on the revenue side and with a continuous improvement mindset.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the billings function for a sizeable transport business
• General Ledger review and oversight
• Revenue analysis by customer
• Provide financial solutions and guidance to the business
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Review pricing and cost models for existing and new business opportunities
• Manage the onboarding process for new customers and carriers
• Review and report on overheads, including wages and salary allocations
• Oversee Profit and Loss for various business units and multi-site operations
• Fleet management costings and P&L reporting
• Lead and mentor a team of Billings Clerks and Accountants

  
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong understanding of the transport business
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• CPA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years' experience
• Experience in large businesses with complex, high-volume transactional environments
• Proven experience leading a team
• Experience with OTM and Oracle OneCloud (preferred, but not essential)
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
