This role has a nice blend of commercial exposure providing finance business partnering to the operations and commercial managers, interfacing with the external clients and operational finance.
 
About the role
 
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance you will provide relevant, timely and accurate financial information and analysis to ensure that the business is able to make appropriate financial decisions. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to.
 
  • Support business management decisions with business case analyses
  • Present monthly financial performance and variance analysis to senior leadership
  • Support the annual budget process and rolling forecast
  • Financial modelling for Capital investments
  • Supporting contract reviews and deliver financial insights to support pricing decisions, cost management and operational performance
  • Profitability and cost analysis by customer
  • Support key projects and cost tracking initiatives
About you  
  • 5 + years Commercial accounting exposure working in a mid to large corporate environment
  • CPA qualifications
  • Transport industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Must have Advanced Excel with Power Query experience
  • Experience working cross functionally
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
