Are you a commercially minded accountant looking to build your career in a complex, fast-paced environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a global supply chain and logistics business in a broad Business Accountant role offering genuine development, strong mentorship and long-term career progression.

Working as part of a high-performing finance team, you will support operational and financial performance across customer accounts and sites, partnering closely with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate reporting, cost control and informed business decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting sector P&L performance across customers and sites
  • Preparing accurate billing, cost accruals and customer cost allocations
  • Participating in month-end close activities, reporting and reconciliations
  • Revenue and expense analysis, including labour and operating cost reporting
  • Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and financial transaction reporting
  • Partnering with operations teams to provide financial insights and support
  • Assisting with allocation of operating costs across sectors
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and finance-related projects
  • Contributing to accurate data analysis across large data sets and ERP systems
You will bring:
  • Experience in an accounting or commercial finance role
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Exposure to supply chain, transport, 3PL or 4PL environments will be highly regarded
