- Parramatta & Sydney CBD | Hybrid (2 days WFH)
- $450-$500 day rate dep on experience
- ASAP start | Approx. 6 month assignment
The Role
You will support the Customer Research team by managing procurement processes, contracts, financial administration, and documentation. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of research initiatives by coordinating suppliers, maintaining compliance, and supporting budget tracking and reporting.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across procurement, finance, and legal, as well as external research partners, to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end procurement activities including RFIs/RFPs, documentation, and approvals
- Coordinate supplier onboarding, contracts, and ongoing vendor management
- Liaise with procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance and timely processing
- Raise purchase requests and manage purchase orders through SAP
- Process invoices and maintain accurate financial tracking and reporting
- Assist in managing the Customer Research budget and provide regular updates
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, procurement activities, and documentation
- Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, minutes, and team logistics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Experience in a similar coordination, procurement, or administrative role
- Experience working with procurement processes and supplier management
- Familiarity with SAP/Ariba or similar finance systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams and stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience within government or a regulated environment
- Exposure to process improvement or process mapping
- Experience supporting research, insights, or project-based teams
- Hybrid working (Parramatta, Sydney CBD + 2 days WFH)
