This role is ideal for someone who has generalist HR experience and is ready to take the next step into a true business partnering position, where they can continue to develop their commercial and strategic HR capability.
About the Role
As the HR Business Partner, you'll provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle while partnering with leaders to deliver people initiatives that support business objectives. This is a broad, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering exposure to employee relations, engagement, talent acquisition, learning and development, and organisational change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with leaders to provide practical advice across employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations and general HR matters.
- Build trusted relationships with managers, coaching and supporting them through people-related challenges.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Support learning and development initiatives, succession planning and talent development.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, employment legislation and company policies.
- Contribute to HR reporting, workforce planning and broader people strategies.
- Promote a positive safety culture in partnership with operational leaders.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, and genuinely wants to grow their HR career within a global business.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR, People & Culture or HR Advisor role.
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, including Fair Work.
- Experience providing advice on employee relations, performance management and workplace policies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across the business.
- A proactive, approachable and solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working within a global organisation or a product-based business will be highly regarded, however industry experience is not essential.
