Our client is a global logistics business specialising in beverages, backed by a strong global network and a collaborative, local culture. With a growing Australian workforce across both blue- and white-collar operations, the organisation continues to invest in its people function and leadership capability.
This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging HR professional to elevate the role of HR and influence culture, engagement and business performance alongside operational leaders.
The Opportunity:
This role is ideally suited to an HR Advisor or developing HR professional with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to broaden their generalist capability within a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with, and being mentored by, the Head of HR APAC, you will gain exposure to both operational and strategic HR activities across Australia while contributing to wider regional initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from an experienced senior HR leader within an international business and accelerate your development toward a future HR Business Partner pathway.
You will play a hands-on role across the employee lifecycle while building strong relationships with leaders and employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across Australia
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contracts, performance processes and offboarding
- Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance management processes with guidance from senior HR leadership
- Coordinate HR administration, reporting and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Partner with operational leaders to support engagement, retention and culture initiatives
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives across the business
- Work closely with the Head of HR APAC on regional HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Liaise with external providers, including payroll and recruitment partners
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and employee experience
- Contribute to HR projects aligned with organisational growth and capability development
- 2–3 years’ experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Foundational understanding of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work principles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in HR
- Experience supporting operational or blue-collar workforces is highly regarded but not essential
- Direct mentorship from an experienced Head of HR APAC
- Exposure to regional and international HR initiatives
- Clear development pathway into an HR Business Partner role
- Broad generalist HR experience across operational and corporate environments
- Collaborative and supportive culture
- Competitive salary package, including car allowance
- Opportunity to join a growing international organisation during an exciting phase of evolution
