The Company
Our client is an international logistics company specialising in beverages. With a workforce of blue and white-collar employees locally, the business combines global backing with a close-knit, agile culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at a pivotal stage of evolution, where HR plays a true strategic role in shaping business performance and culture.

The Role
In this role, you will oversee the complete HR function in Australia, acting as the key local people leader while working in partnership with global and regional HR teams to deliver strategic initiatives across the broader organisation.

You will:
  • Partner closely with the Australia leadership team and the broader Global HR community to develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that drive performance and retention
  • Act as a trusted people partner, delivering a positive and consistent employee experience across the full employee lifecycle
  • Provide commercially sound HR advice to the leadership team, supporting business growth, transformation and organisational capability
  • Lead and support organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment and smooth implementation
  • Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with Australian employment legislation and aligned with global standards and best practice
  • Monitor and track delivery of HR strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships (including outsourced payroll), ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards
  • Support and execute regional and global HR projects locally, embedding initiatives that enhance engagement and performance

This is a highly visible role where you will operate autonomously while remaining closely connected to the regional HR function.

About You
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Human Resources within a generalist or business partnering capacity
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Proven capability in leading or supporting complex organisational change initiatives
  • Experience operating in a matrix, multi-country or global environment will be highly regarded
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • Comfortable working independently in a standalone role
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with resilience and a genuine passion for people

They’re looking for someone commercially astute, relationship-driven and confident in their ability to influence — someone who works hard, enjoys a challenge, and brings energy to the workplace.
