  • Step-Up Opportunity from Senior HR Business Partner
The Company
Our client is an international logistics company specialising in beverages. With a workforce of blue and white-collar employees locally, the business combines global backing with a close-knit, agile culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at a pivotal stage of evolution, where HR plays a true strategic role in shaping business performance and culture.

The Opportunity
This is a genuine step-up opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner ready to transition into an HR Manager role within a growing international business operating in the logistics sector.
The organisation is actively evolving its people function, with HR increasingly positioned as a strategic driver of performance, capability and culture. You will join a broader HR team in Australia and play a key leadership role in partnering with senior stakeholders and global HR colleagues to shape and deliver meaningful people outcomes.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being in the thick of the business — balancing strategy with hands-on delivery — and who is confident with their knowledge of the Fair Work framework, while influencing leaders who may not traditionally view HR as a key business driver.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a broad and influential HR leadership role where no two days look the same. You’ll be trusted to connect strategy with execution and ensure people initiatives genuinely land across the business.

You will:
  • Partner closely with the Australia leadership team and global HR community to design and deliver HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that directly improve performance, engagement, and retention
  • Act as a trusted people advisor, ensuring employees experience a consistent, positive and fair approach across the full employee lifecycle
  • Provide commercially grounded HR advice that supports business growth, organisational capability and ongoing transformation
  • Lead and support organisational change, ensuring clear communication, strong stakeholder alignment and smooth execution across teams
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with Australian employment legislation, while aligning with global frameworks and best practice standards
  • Translate HR strategy into action by tracking progress against key initiatives and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
  • Continuously look for smarter ways of working by identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Manage external vendors and service providers (including outsourced payroll), ensuring high standards of service delivery and accountability
  • Support the rollout of regional and global HR initiatives locally, ensuring they are effectively embedded and add real value in the Australian context
About You
You are likely a Senior HR Business Partner ready to step into an HR Manager role, or an experienced HR Manager seeking a broader and more commercially connected environment.

You will bring:
  • 6+ years’ HR experience in a generalist or business partnering capacity
  • Strong Employee Relations and Industrial Relations capability, with solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and practical application in complex environments
  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and influencing outcomes in environments where HR is still building strategic credibility
  • Experience supporting or leading organisational change and transformation
  • Exposure to matrix, multi-site or global organisations (highly regarded)
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect people initiatives to business performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
  • A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset, with the resilience to operate in a fast-moving environment
Why This Role?
This is a true step-up opportunity into HR Manager-level responsibility within a broader HR structure. You’ll have visibility across the business, access to senior leadership, and the chance to genuinely influence how HR is perceived and experienced across the organisation.
It’s a role for someone who enjoys variety, complexity and impact — and who wants to play a key role in shifting HR from support function to strategic partner.
