Are you an experienced Air Freight Imports professional looking for your next permanent opportunity with a well-established global logistics environment?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Freight Specialist to manage end-to-end import shipments, from initial booking through to final billing and file closure. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing operations team where customer service, accuracy and profitability are key drivers of success.

In this role, you will take ownership of your shipment files, ensuring all import movements are executed accurately, on time and in line with customer SOPs and compliance requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end air import job files from booking through to finalisation in the TMS
• Acting as the key point of contact for allocated customers
• Monitoring shipment milestones to ensure on-time delivery performance
• Preparing and checking all shipment documentation
• Liaising with carriers, warehouse teams and internal operations teams
• Responding to customer queries and resolving shipment issues
• Ensuring all billing, revenue and cost capture is completed accurately
• Supporting claims, disputes and operational problem solving

About You:

• Previous experience in air freight imports within freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end shipment documentation and operational workflows
• Experience using a TMS 
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong time management
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and competing deadlines
• Commercial awareness around billing, costs and job profitability
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
