Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will partner with injured employees, managers, medical practitioners and rehabilitation providers to deliver positive recovery outcomes while ensuring compliance with NSW workers compensation legislation and best practice injury management principles.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance, developing recovery plans and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to remove barriers and achieve sustainable return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end return to work and injury management cases.
  • Develop, implement and review tailored Return to Work Plans.
  • Liaise with injured employees, managers, treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers and claims service providers.
  • Provide advice and coaching to managers on injury management and return to work obligations.
  • Monitor recovery progress and proactively address barriers to successful return to work.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with NSW workers compensation legislation and internal policies.
  • Analyse claims information and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support positive recovery outcomes.
About You

To be successful, you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in Return to Work, Injury Management, Workers Compensation or Occupational Rehabilitation.
  • A sound understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation and return to work practices.
  • Strong case management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
