This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised manufacturer in the heavy industrial equipment sector, taking ownership of the Queensland sales territory.
Reporting directly to the VP of Sales/General Manager, your primary focus will be driving sales across Queensland for premium capital equipment supporting the construction and heavy industrial sectors.
You'll inherit an established customer base while proactively identifying and securing new opportunities, making this a true territory sales role that combines relationship management with business development.
You'll have the autonomy to manage your own territory, build long-term customer partnerships and develop your sales strategy.

About the Role
  • Drive sales of premium capital equipment throughout Queensland, managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across sales, finance, marketing, delivery, service and training functions.
  • Grow an established customer portfolio while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Support business planning and strategy through effective sales forecasting, reporting, market analysis and commercial insights.
  • Provide input into product development initiatives by understanding customer requirements and market opportunities.
  • Promote and protect the company's brand reputation by delivering a professional, ethical and customer-focused approach.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant industry bodies, events and networking opportunities.
  • Support commercial activities including contracts, agreements, licensing, product registrations and other business requirements as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and ad hoc projects that support business objectives.
About You

You're a driven and self-motivated sales professional who enjoys taking ownership of your territory and building long-term customer relationships. You thrive working independently, enjoy being in front of customers and are motivated by winning business and delivering results.

Ideally, you'll have:
  • Approximately 3-5 years' experience selling capital equipment, heavy machinery, construction or mining equipment, industrial machinery, lifting equipment or commercial vehicles.
  • Experience selling mobile cranes, tower cranes or lifting equipment will be highly regarded.
  • A proven ability to generate new business while managing and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle for high-value equipment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own territory.
