In this role, you will own the end‑to‑end coordination of import deliveries and transport, ensuring containers are delivered and dehired efficiently, costs are controlled, and customers receive a seamless experience. You will also act as a subject‑matter expert within the team, supporting process improvement and sharing your knowledge with junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all sea freight import deliveries and container dehire to meet customer and carrier deadlines.
  • Manage cartage providers day‑to‑day, driving performance against agreed KPIs and resolving issues before they impact the customer.
  • Oversee carrier payments and delivery order release to ensure timely collection and cost‑effective outcomes.
  • Act as the main contact for an allocated portfolio of customers on delivery requirements, proactively managing expectations and resolving challenges.
  • Monitor and action Customs, AQIS and DAFF requirements to ensure full compliance and avoid penalties or delays.
  • Analyse transport activities to reduce client transport liabilities and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
About You
  • 5–8 years’ experience in ocean freight transport / international freight forwarding, ideally in an import environment.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including ocean products and end‑to‑end delivery processes.
  • Experience with OFR products, and CargoWise, will be highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers and manage challenging conversations professionally.
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of managing costs and improving margins.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture.
