Our client is a large NSW State Government providing customer-centered services to the people of NSW, including some of the state's most vulnerable.
About the Role
They are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to provide comprehensive support and assistance to Talent Acquisition Advisors and hiring managers across a range of talent acquisition activities to ensure the delivery of timely, efficient and high-quality services to the business that contribute to achieving talent management objectives.
Responsibilities
- Utilise the recruitment system to support the delivery of talent acquisition services, including the coordination of interviews, assessments, pre-employment checks, candidate management, extending offers and onboarding.
- Ensure accuracy and documentation within all recruitment systems used.
- Contribute to the provision of timely and efficient talent acquisition services and support to hiring managers regarding recruitment appointments.
- Collaborate with and assist the team, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands, and priorities.
- Respond to general recruitment inquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
- Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurately and correctly stored and accessible.
- Uphold all government and legislative polices.

- Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to community with stakeholders across all levels
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Motivated and proactive with an eagerness to learn
- Agile and adaptable within a fast paced high volume environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated Recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Previous experience within Public Sector or a complex environment highly advantageous
- Reliable internet access
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
